Our staff has over 75 years of combined Real Estate and Property Management experience in the metro Louisville area. In the mid to late 70s, our founder, Mr. Bailey acquired several apartment buildings. Soon, other investors approached him about managing their apartments. Bailey Property Management was created in 1980, when he saw the growing need for full-service management of rental property. Owner/Founder – Tom Bailey Mr. Bailey is a native of Shelbyville, KY, having just received the Kentucky Real Estate Commissions “Half Century” award for being a licensed real estate broker for 50 years. Mr. Bailey founded Bailey Property Management in 1980. Operations Manager – Tim Powers Mr. Powers is a native of Oldham County, and has just received a 25 years Affiliation Award from the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors. Mr. Powers is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Having previously worked with Mr. Bailey, Mr. Powers once again joined forces with Mr. Bailey when he came on board as Operations Manager in the fall of 2009. Mr. Powers oversees the day to day operations for the Company. Accounting Manager – Karen Keele Karen has been with BPM for over 3 years, previously working with one of Mr. Bailey’s Business Associates. Leasing and Tenant Manager – Jessica Cowles Jessica has been with BPM for 1 year. Jessica is taking on the responsibility of Leasing Coordinator, where she will handle all aspects of marketing, assisting prospective and new tenants, and coordinating maintenance. Jessica is a licensed Real Estate Agent, and has over 7 years of Real Estate/Property Management experience. Also handles the ongoing, day to day issues, facing our tenants. Weekend Leasing Consultant – Eddie Ross You may hear this familiar voice on your local radio station, but can catch him live here in our offices on Saturday from 10am – 3pm where he works to assist prospective tenants. Eddie is a Louisville native. Maintenance - Chet Bell Previously having worked in several other aspects here at BPM, Chet is that familiar face the tenants see when responding to maintenance requests. Chet has been with the company for over 30 years, and is a native of Louisville. Maintenance – Anthony Tran A native of Vietnam, Anthony is a fairly fresh face here at BPM. Anthony is a member of our maintenance staff, and you may see him responding to your maintenance issues. Cleaning Crew – Charlie Wilson Charlie is the Supervisor of our Cleaning Crew, working hard to be sure that our units are move-in ready for our future tenants. He is a very friendly person, eager to assist in any way possible, and very respectful, although he too is a University of Kentucky fan. Charlie is a native of Shelby County.
